Beautiful place...
We were the first set of ppl to have occupied the rooms...loved the place which is in the middle of the valley surrounded by beautiful tree clad mountains, can spot the Tunganath temple far away from the beautiful deck that the place had .Tasty wholesome homemade hot food which was the icing on the cake . Sunil is a wonderful host and made sure we had a very comfortable stay .. loved every bit of our stay here. I dont always give a 5/5 in my ratings but this place truly deserved it.

It was our first visit to Uttarakhand, This location is little away from the road which is good and I loved it as the surroundings are peacfull and no disturbance of Road side movements. The sleep was very much comfortable and the service were upto mark and quick.

I enjoyed my stay here, my infant had very good meal as we expected and demanded and the restaurant was our favorite place ti chill out or work-out . Wonderfull experience , the view from the room is of the pine trees and mountain ranges.

We stayed here while coming from Kedarnath where the stay was not comfortable and it was too cold, we were asked to stay in Chopta by our agent while the next destination was Badrinath. My wife was extreemly happy with the comfotable bed and she had very nice sound sleep after long time, even I was relaxed here. We asked for simple food as we are senior citizen and it was cooked nicely. Very nice behaviour of the whole staff and they were caring too.

My buddies and I stayed for 2 nights at Chopta House. Mr Sunil and his colleagues hosted us like family, catering to each and every request: piping hot pakoras, mutton rogan josh (one of the best I’ve had in a long time, so simple yet amaze balls), an extra room, never-ending bonfires, you name it. The rooms were clean and spacious and the quilts kept us cozy even in minus eight degrees. Chopta House’s warmth will remain fresh in my memory!

Perfect place to stay while in Chopta. It is 30 min drive from Trek point to Tungnath. Comfortable room, which you can easily compare with 3 star hotel... highly recommend.

Our family stayed here for two nights in december and absolutely enjoyed the service. The hosts are very warm and welcoming. The food is home-made and very delicious. We even tried the local roti and bhaji which were the highlight....It is wonderfully located in the middle of a valley and 30 min drive to the Tungnath trek point. Your vehicle can be parked on the road above and you can walk down to the stay. You may not get phone service (which actually felt nice for we could take a break from the internet). They do have wifi which can be accessed on the ground floor.
All in all, it was an excellent stay!

Good room and service for such offbeat place in Chopta. Solar panels provide electricty here. Food was okay but service was good. Suggest to book prior before visit.
